Dog Food for Dogs with
Sensitive Skin
Is your dog itching or scratching a lot?
Your dog may have an allergic reaction to a type of meat or grain from the current dog food your are feeding. The most common meat source in dog food is chicken, lamb, and beef. Excluding those protein source, and ensuring it has omega 3 & 6 & antioxidants is what you will need.
We would recommend these 3 brands of dog food, as long as your dog never had an allergic reaction to fish too (Rarely Happens).
The first brand by Taste of the Wild is a much higher quality dog food compare to to the rest, but they are not specifically made for ONLY skin sensitive dogs, therefore their omega 3 and omega 6 is not extra high compare to other specific made for skin sensitive dog food. The reason it is a much higher quality food is because they have a lot more meat for the dog, and meat is what a dog should eat, not rice, corn, soy, wheat, these are all cheap fillers with no nutrition value for your dog.
Second reason is because it is a Grain Free product to help prevent future allergies problem that your dog may or may not already be allergic to. There are other lower quality brands in the market, but we feel that their ingredients are too far beyond what we would consider in feeding a sensitive skin dog for most cases.
So unless your dog is sensitive to fish (Rarely Happens), these are the top 3 brands we would recommend. We will update this page as we find more food that are for sensitive skin dogs.

VIP Pet Supplies.com
Compared it to: Science Diet - Sensitive

Cons: 4th Highest % Ingredient is
meat (Pork), the meat source is too far
